CoveReady Legal Center
Refund Policy
Effective July 15, 2026
Payment authorization
A card authorization is a temporary hold, not a completed charge. If CoveReady declines a request before capture, we will cancel the authorization. Your bank controls how quickly the hold disappears.
Captured service charges
Once CoveReady accepts a request and captures payment, the initial-visit charge is generally earned because availability has been reserved and work may begin. Refunds are considered when CoveReady cannot provide an accepted service, a duplicate charge occurs, a billing error is confirmed, or fairness reasonably requires an adjustment.
Urgent-priority fees
An urgent-priority fee compensates for prioritized review and response readiness. It becomes nonrefundable when CoveReady accepts the urgent request or begins responding, except when CoveReady cannot provide the accepted urgent service or a billing error occurred.
Additional work and materials
Approved materials, contractor charges, completed labor, travel, or third-party costs are not refundable after they are incurred unless incorrectly billed.
Plans and recurring services
Unless a plan states otherwise, completed visits and already scheduled or reserved services are not refundable. A cancellation stops future renewal or future eligible visits; it does not automatically refund services already delivered.
Requesting review
Contact [email protected] or (573) 502-0150 within 14 days of the charge. Include the request or invoice reference and the reason for review. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and timing is controlled by Stripe, the card network, and your bank.
