CoveReady Legal Center
Terms of Service
Effective July 16, 2026
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of CoveReady websites, accounts, portals, and services. By creating an account, submitting a request, authorizing payment, or using a service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Nature of service
CoveReady provides on-demand, observational, and light property-support services. CoveReady is not a licensed home-inspection company, property-management company, security company, emergency-response agency, or substitute for licensed trades, emergency services, insurance, alarms, cameras, neighbors, cleaners, associations, or routine owner maintenance.
No guarantee of condition
A property visit is limited to the requested scope, visible and reasonably accessible conditions, available time, safety, weather, access, and information supplied by the customer. Reports are snapshots of observed conditions and do not guarantee that every defect, hazard, concealed condition, future failure, or intervening event will be found.
Requests and acceptance
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance, availability, arrival time, outcome, or completion. CoveReady may clarify, modify, decline, reschedule, or stop work when scope, access, safety, weather, legality, staffing, or other conditions require it.
Urgent and emergency conditions
Urgent priority means prioritized review and may carry an additional fee. It does not guarantee immediate dispatch or arrival. Call 911 or the proper emergency authority first for fire, medical emergencies, crime in progress, gas leaks, or threats to life or safety. When reasonably necessary and safe, CoveReady may take limited action to reduce active property damage, such as shutting off water, and will document and communicate the action.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate contact, property, access, hazard, occupancy, pet, alarm, association, and authorization information; obtain required permissions; maintain insurance; secure valuables; and promptly review communications. You represent that you have authority to request access and services at the property.
Pricing and payment
The checkout amount covers the stated initial visit or service scope. Additional work, materials, licensed contractors, return trips, expanded scope, or unexpected conditions require separate approval when practical. CoveReady may authorize a payment method when a request is submitted and capture the authorized amount when the request is accepted. Authorization holds are controlled by the card network and issuer.
Text-message terms
If you voluntarily opt in, CoveReady may send transactional SMS messages about your account, service requests, payment authorizations, scheduling, service status, urgent-request updates, and report availability. Message frequency varies according to your activity and requested services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You may also contact CoveReady at [email protected] or (573) 502-0150. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Photos, reports, and communications
You authorize CoveReady to photograph and document the property for service, reporting, quality, safety, billing, and dispute-resolution purposes. Private property photos will not be used for marketing without permission.
Access and third parties
CoveReady may meet or provide authorized access to vendors or contractors, but does not guarantee their work and is not responsible for independent third-party acts or omissions. The customer remains responsible for selecting, hiring, and paying third parties unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoveReady is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, lost rent, lost profits, loss of use, or conditions outside the requested scope or reasonable observation. CoveReady’s aggregate liability arising from a specific service will not exceed the amount paid to CoveReady for that service, except where a limitation is prohibited by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Missouri law. Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Morgan County, Missouri, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for future use. Contact [email protected] or (573) 502-0150 with questions.
